Re: angelina jolie

Thanks Joem18b for the above review source.  I have read additional reviews summing about C+.

I can't laugh too hard on her spider arms because mine are rather gangly (no idea how to spell that-  Paul- where is spell check?)  Additionally, sorry readers, I am the world worst proofreader, I hate going back!

I agree on the censorship debate, total celebrity needing additional press hype.  Negative always equals positive exposure timed conviently.

Re: angelina jolie

the thing with Angelina isn't how long her arms are but how much more weight she loses.

sometimes a movie comes along and i know i'll never see it. Not sure why, but it happened with Titanic. I'll watch anything but never watched that. i have the same feeling about this new movie.

[later] Actually, now that I'm reminded of Winterbottom's earlier movies, especially In The World, which is high on my list, I've changed my mind and want to see A Mighty Heart.

Re: angelina jolie

To me, the fellows seemed a little hard on Angelina on the FilmCouch #25 podcast. I posted a comment about it in the FilmCouch group, if you're interested. The couch can be very quiet over there. Nobody but me on it some episodes. One time I had to bring my own couch, cause the discussion thread was never created. Hopefully more folks listen to the podcast episodes than post comments about it, because the fellows that do it are very hip.

I used to try to listen to them for a while, but then I got so busy.  I just use Spout at work mostly, but I can't listen to audio here.  I suppose I could put the podcasts on my iPod to listen to on my way to work.

I know the guys  are pretty cool.  I've known Kevin for quite a few years actually.  Now that I've missed so many it's kind of daunting I'd have to catch up.  Yes I'm a completist like that.  I'd have to hear all of them.  I'd like to particpate too, but wow this place is getting to be a lot to handle.

Joe, I'm assuming you are retired?

Dude, they say that most of the baby boomers will never retire. Count me in that group. My daughter has another year in school (50K) and there are no pensions in Silicon Valley. However, all my work is done on computer, with some extra time for messages like this.

But the main thing is, I've subscribed to 30 or 40 podcasts via ITunes and every morning I just plug in my Ipod and it gets updated.  Then I exercise several hours a day plus commute, so that's when I can listen. (btw, I also download a lot of standup from usenet to the ipod. and btw again, did you every listen to the "I Love Movies" podcast. Standups improvising on movie themes. Sadly, out of business now.)

And just to inject some gossip: Paris looked pretty good coming out of jail.

I have yet to see it.  Question, what is your opinion?  Does Angelina always go out where the photographers are and load up the kids in her arms (we all know how heavy that would get after a while and she never has just one) vs does she really always tote them around with the nannies following behind?  I saw  Shiloh in a recent people publication, she is beautiful!  I see a little of grandpa V in her.

They say that she lifts her weight in kids. But then, she doesn't weigh that much. It's why her arms are so long now. where's the Snugli?

As you probably know, the bjorn is the favorite among the stars now. my  spouse made one the other day for the grandchild. i actually wouldn't get caught dead wearing a snugli.
