Harrison Ford
A friend of mine teaches a seminar at Yale every summer. He emails me that this past week or so the town has been abuzz with filming of the next Indiana Jones movie. It was impossible to get a hotel room, but he has a long-standing relationship with a bed and breakfast that he uses whenever he's there. He took some time to go out and watch the moviemaking in progress, including work on a motorcycle chase. Everything is dressed to look like 1957. He shook Spielberg's hand at a cocktail party on campus but didn't get to talk to him. But he did share a drink with Ford's stunt double. They spent the whole time talking economic theory, I'm sorry to say.
