new David Strathairn movie
i was really disappointed that i didn't get to see his movies at the Denver film festival (or him in person!) but We Are Marshall is coming out soon. i just saw the trailer last night and am looking really forward to it.

Spout guys saw Steel Toes at Denver and offered up a great interview. Bestill my heart. They were blown away by the movie.

finally saw it (We Are Marshall) yesterday and i liked it. DS had a bigger part than the trailer suggested! the movie was somewhat sentimental and maybe cliched but i thought the emotion was authentic and moving. i also enjoyed the football sequences, which made the games seem like real battles. there was just a pervasive sadness throughout the movie that was very touching. at the very beginning, they flashed the words, "this is a true story" (not based on a true story).
