Three Stooges movie

This isn't really coming soon.  Actually, probably not until 2010 at the earliest, but this was the first news I heard about this project and thought it was really amusing to imagine.

Hopefully that link comes up properly, but basically there will be a Three Stooges movie written and directed by the Farrelly brothers with Jim Carrey as Curly, Sean Penn as Larry, and possibly Benicio del Toro as Moe.  That would be wild!

Great find Rizzo. Unfortunately I can't find a poster of any kind. But I will definitely see this if I can. The three stooges were one of my favorite things to watch when I was a kid.

wow. I can't really picture Benicio del Toro or Sean Penn as a stooge.

I know what you are saying but the Farrelly brothers have been well known for taking people you wouldn't usually picture as doing really goofy comedy and making something decent out of it nonetheless.

I know what you are saying but the Farrelly brothers have been well known for taking people you wouldn't usually picture as doing really goofy comedy and making something decent out of it nonetheless.

Although I also see they are making a movie called Walter the Farting Dog staring the Jonas brothers, so maybe we shouldn't say too much.....
