The Watchmen

The Watchmen is slated for release for March 06 2009. There has been an ongoing legal battle between Warner and Fox over the rights to the film. The latest in that legal battle is that it is also over any sequels to the film.

I wonder if it will actually be released in March, or ever. Something that this legal battle has brought to light, for me at least, is the common occurance of legal disputes over "intellectual property" in the movie business.
