What are some of your favorite comedies?

There are so many on my list that it would be hard for me to remember them all.  But I just watched Blades of Glory the other day and really thought this was cute.  I have to say I really laughed out loud at a few parts.  I love Will Ferrell movies, I get his sense of humor and he just cracks me up.  I think my all time favorite comedy, though, has to be Airplane - I still love watching that movie over and over again.  OF course I also love the old, old Classics like any Marx Brothers film, Abbott and Costello (especially when they meet the different monsters), Bing Crosby and Bob Hope movies...let's see there is also, Some Like it Hot, Bringing up Baby, so many others.

What are some of your favorites?

I like situational and slapstick kinds of things, but I like a lot of other ones too.  I loved Death at a Funeral as a recent film.  Others that always make me laugh include the Southpark movie, older stuff like Abbott and Costello, dark comedies like Little Miss Sunshine, and even some of the teen type movies like American Pie and Mean Girls.

I have a hard time getting into the slapstick flicks, or things like 40-Year-Old Virgin and Dumb and Dumber.  They have their moments, but generally they just leave me shaking my head, lol.

Some of my favorite comedies are Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Raising Arizona, The Full Monty and the old Walther Matthau/Elaine May film A New LeafA Night at the OperaWithnail and IO Brother Where Art Thou.  I like the South Park movie as well, though it gets a bit gross sometimes.  Loved Little Miss Sunshine....well, there are so many...
