Anyone Know...?
...of any new British-made or inspired films on the horizon? I mean, other than Harry Potter? Talk about them here!

Re: Anyone Know...?
I've been waiting for Brit Bruce Robinson to start work on The Rum Diary for a long time!

The guy who directed that made a really hilarious trailer for a movie called "Don't" that is a part of Grindhouse.

He also directed two hilarious and not-so-violent music videos a few years back for one of my favorite artists, Charlotte Hatherley! He's done some other music videos for British acts too. Check them out on youtube or his fansite.

Re: Anyone Know...?
"Stardust," which is set in England and based on a novel by my favorite British ex-pat Neil Gaiman is set to come out in August. Also, I think "Coraline" which is based on another book of his, is coming out soon. Plus there's "Becoming Jane" about Jane Austen, and "Atonement" based on Ian McEwan's novel which are coming out this year, and Frank Oz's "Death at a Funeral" which is already out, but which I've not heard good things about. I'm a nerd. I make no apologies for this.

Re:Anyone Know...?
The film Stardust may star Robert De Niro and Kathleen Turner, but it is in actuality a British film. The majority of the cast and crew are British, and the director, Mathew Vaughn, was Guy Ritchie's producer for Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch.
