Suzumiya Haruhi
I received my Special Limited Edition of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya DVD in the mail the other day, and I have to say that it is amazing, and quite possibly the best DVD release ever.
The only thing that disappointed me was that they had the episodes chronologically, instead of in the order they were aired in, except for the episode 00. Why have that episode out of order, and the rest chronologically? It makes no sense to me, I wish they would have just kept them in their original order. The dvd included "Mikuru Asahina's Adventure" and "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" parts I, II, and III.
Despite the odd ordering, it is still a tremendous set. Along with the dvd you get a totally awesome art box (complete with magnetic clasps), a Suzumiya Haruhi cosplay headband, a pencil board, iron-on decal, and CD.
Not only did it come with tons of cool stuff, but it also had a really awesome dub. With a cast including Crispin Freeman, Wendee Lee, Johnny Yong Bosh, Michelle Ruff, and Stephanie Sheh, it had to be. It also includes the original Japanese audio and english subtitle features (for all you dub haters)
I would recommend any Suzumiya fan get the Special Limited Edition dvd, it's totally worth the extra cash. It's still available here on Rightstuf.com The second dvd is also available for preorder :3

Re: Suzumiya Haruhi
I went and bought it the day it came out and I too think it's awesome... and I didn't know the pencil board was a pencil board until I read what you wrote just now lol. I thought the dubs were all done really good, and I loved the extra features on them... one thing though is that Itsuki sounds kinda gay now is what my friend said, I think it fits his easy going character... I'm probably also going to get all the rest in special edition too.
