Neon Genesis Evangelion
Is anyone here a fan of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series? It has such a cult following! My friend convinced me to watch it. I ended up watching the entire anime series, and the subsequent movies.
I thought it was was interesting enough to keep me going, although I was confused quite often. It can seem very convoluted on first watching it. But I guess people love it because apparently every aspect of the series is supposed to have a deeper meaning, or at least is suspected to.
Now the series is being re release as a rebuild. I can't exactly figure out what that means though. Is it completely re animated or just cleaned up from before?
Also I thought I heard rumors that there was going to be a live action film version of the story made in Hollywood, but I can't find too much more about that now.
Anyone here have any opinions on it?
