Pat Metheny performs this soundtrack as a guitar/bass duo on "Beyond the Missouri Sky"

And here is another from the same man Mr. Pat Metheny, The Falson and the Snowman (http://www.spout.com/films/TheFalconandtheSnowman/11071/default.aspx)
is a film he did the soundtrack for way way back when. Interesting to hear the differences in soundtracks relative the the composers primary instrument. It certainly influences how the music is shaped.
