I knew nothing about the subject of this documentary before I saw it. It was very entertaining, and edited well IMO.
It seems to make you feel sorry for Roman as you're watching it. So that's a little conflicting, but over all it was good. I would definatley suggest this to anyone with an interest in such things.

I only had a vague overview of the whole Roman Polanski trial and the controversy surrounding his fleeing the country... this documentary was very eye-opening for me.
While you are led to feel sorry for Roman, there is no mistaking that he, admittedly, committed a crime. This documentary leads you to feel sorry for him, as mentioned... and I found myself torn - yes, he was a victim of a flawed legal system and he got a raw deal, but he is also guilty of a serious crime.
I found this to be very interesting, but I'm a sucker for crime documentaries.
