I watched The Host last night....
It was better than I expected, I typically prefer the monster genre to the ghost type of horror so I was kinda into it. The humor wasn't as good the trailer leads you to believe. But I tend to have a problem with genre movies that turn hokey because they add too much over the top humor. It gets a thumbs up from me primarily because the monster looked really cool.
