Not Just Captain Sparrow, but Johnny Depp as Well!
The first role that comes to mind is Captain Jack Sparrow (center of Pirates of the Caribbean [Film Series]) because--like me--he is evidence that the travails of life cannot destroy the righteous!
As you can see in Johnny Depp's roles, he is evidence that maturity finds the actor! Now, he can star opposite hotties like Keira Knightley without getting in too much trouble! lol

I'm sure you're aware that Depp based Jack Sperrow's mannerisms on Keith Richards. And Keith Richards - like me - is evidence that a lifelong mass consumption of drugs and alcohol cannot destroy the righteous!

I'm sure you're aware that Depp based Jack Sperrow's mannerisms on Keith Richards. And Keith Richards - like me - is evidence that a lifelong mass consumption of drugs and alcohol cannot destroy the righteous!
the travils of life, mass consumption of drugs and alcohol; half a dozen in one hand, three pairs in the other ...
Both Captain Sparrow AND Mr. Richards no doubt KNEW that this life is worth nothing ... as Yoda (my mentor) said, "We are not this crude matter" ... so it's best to wrangle all the life you can out of 'this crude matter' before playtime's over!
