"good going"...great ending line and good definition of my feelings for this one.

I love how I can get lost in the intimacy of the moments and I'm not even distracted by plot. It's really refreshing. I love the growing (at least cinematically and informationally..is that a word?) the relationship between Ron and his coworker and their interactions and "locker room" conversations. And of course, the Ron and Mary stuff just makes me smile. I could watch them interact the entire episode and be happy. At first, I was hooked by the under current of detective plot then driven to be far more fascinated by Ron and Mary's relationship, now I think I'm starting to feel a balance between the two halves of the show. I'm starting to be equally challenged by the detective conversations and the stuff at home. It's a really nice, patient build and I'm looking forward to it coming to a full bloom.

Is this dialogue at all scripted? It doesn't seem like it is.

Are you refering to the actual episode? It seems to me like it's partially scripted. I know some of Joe Swanberg's work is light on the scripting. If you think about the nature of the cast it seems more plausible, given the fact that the cast is composed of other directors.
