Gap commercial

Has anyone seen the new Gap commercial with Audrey? What movie is that from? I can't place it.

I have not seen the Gap Commercial --- However, I have seen the HUGE posters/banners in the windows of the Gap.  And to be honest, I'm not quite sure how I feel about it.  I mean, the shots are very playful, very cute but ... "the Audrey pant" by the Gap??  Just haven't made up my mind yet.

I think it might be from Two for the Road, spoutgirl, though I haven't seen that movie in ages and ages.  It's from a scene where she's dancing in a bar or club, and it's definitely the 60s.  She's wearing a black top with the black pant, and her hair is in a ponytail...that's my best guess anyway.

Re: Gap commercial

So I'm currently reading a book (one of a few, actually) about Audrey.  It's entitled "How to be Lovely" and you can imagine the main topic of the book.  In any case - it's pretty good - filled with fantastic photographs and a million little Audrey quotes and quotes from her peers etc.  I just got to one "behind the scenes" page discussing her strong sense of style and the movie Funny Face.  I thought I'd share...

"Audrey and I agreed she would wear black tight-fitting pants, a black sweater and black shoes.  I wanted her to wear white socks with it, and she was stunned.  'Absolutely not!' she said.  'It will spoil the whole black silhouette and cut the line at my feet!'  I said, ' If you don't wear the socks you will fade into the background...' She burst into tears and ran into her dressing room.  After a little while she regained her composure, put on the white socks, returned to the set and went ahead without a whimper.
Later, when she saw the sequence, she sent me a note saying, 'You were right about the socks. Love, Audrey.'"
