Actor scramble...
The rules here are simple. I'll provide a movie plot and several scrambled letters. The letters will be the initials of three actors who were in that movie. But they won't be in any kind of order. You are to put them in order and provide both the title of the movie and the three actors' names. Whoever gets it right does one of their own. Example: An unsuspecting twenty-something becomes involved in a sinister plot when he recieves a random phone call from a kidnapped woman. Letters - WKBECHM. Correct response is - Cellular, Kim Basinger, Chris Evans, William H Macy. So here's the real one. Plot: A group of WWII soldiers go on a secret side mission to retrieve 16 million dollars-worth of gold from a bank behind enemy lines. Letters: CSDDRE First to get it right gets a cookie!

Re: Actor scramble...
Joem, I gotta admit, I'm pretty stumped here. Your plot synopsis could be the one of a movie I've never seen, or it could be the one of a hundred movies I've seen. I can't get much out of the actors' initials (my mind just doesn't think that way). Could I be the first loser of my own game?

Re: Actor scramble...
See my edits. I think having 8 letters is probably too much. But you should know the movie...

Re: Actor scramble...
Alright, I got it this time. Dorothy was literally torn from fome in The Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland, Bert Lahr, Ray Bolger, and Jack Haley. Good one, though. Here's the next -- Drugs destroy the lives of friends and family. JCBELJMMMW Ten letters = difficulty level Hard. Easy plot, though. Should come easy.

Yes, an easy one. But let's see if there's anybody here but the two of us... I liked JC in this one; thought she stunk in her latest, blockbuster flick.

Requiem for a Dream. A high school slacker kills his girlfriend and shows off her dead body to their friends. However, the friends' reaction is almost as ambiguous and perplexing as the crime itself. RGHCDK

Re: Actor scramble...
I remember reading the reviews for this one when it came out; can't remember if I ever saw it. If nobody answers, I will later. But you know, it's just chance that I know this one. Seems like kind of a hard one for this gam. But if somebody gets it, then I guess I'm wrong. I watched a French movie the other night (Le Quai des brumes, 1938) and five of the actors listed at the beginning had only one name, and the six was listed as "le Vigan."

Re: Actor scramble...
Sorry all of the other ones listed seemed way too easy for me. So I thought I'd pick one that was a tad bit less known. I tried to pick one with actors who I thought had somewhat unusual names! Two of them at least. Maybe that will be a clue...

Seems hard to find one that isn't too easy or too hard... River's Edge Cripin Glover, Keenu Reeves, Dennis Hopper In spite of this next one, my wife still drinks Merlot. CGTHP and VOMS
