Portland, Oregon 48 Hour Film Project AKA shameless self-promotion
Since "promotion" is fair game here, I'm posting links to the short film I recently worked on as part of the Monmouth Film Collective and the 48 Hour Film Project, Portland, Oregon. For those who don't know, the 48 Hour Film Project is an international film event that "tours" different cities and challenges teams to make a 4-7 minute film in two days. Each city has a common set of elements that teams have to fit into a randomly drawn genre. Portland's elements were: a character named Roy or Rachel Schwarz, quality control inspector, a balloon as a prop, and the line, "Do you smell what I smell?" Our team drew "fantasy" as a genre. The film is "DreemRz, Inc" and the story is about a cut-rate dream factory and one particularly bad dream being sent out to a child. Our hero, Rachel Schwarz (Meghan Flickinger), has finally had enough and sets out to stop the dream before it reaches its subject. Enjoy (YouAreTV offers better quality, but YouTube is more likely to be compatible with everyone's browser and computer configuration). http://www.youare.tv/watch.php?id=4512 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wefPK14vqgo
