Grew up in the 80's

fave star in the 80s that are out of the radar today;where are they now??

your favorite actor/actress in the 80s thats not actively making movies today or making movies today that are not so great,not very well known,or maybe they move on to a different field(job)or they work behind the camera now;

What are they up to currently??

This is a good discussion!  I just saw C. Thomas Howell in another version of War of the Worlds on the Sci Fi Channel.  He has not aged very well, I just looked up how old he is and he is one year YOUNGER than I am and I thought he was close to 50.  I also saw that it looks like he is keeping extremely busy with a lot of TV series appearances in 24 and a LOT of B movies in production right now (I got this all from IMDB.com - the best place in the world to look up anything and everything about anyone who has ever been on TV or the movies - it even had my ex coworker in there because his best friend is a director of very bad scary movies and he was in a few of the films).  Ralph Machio (from his picture, he has aged well and he is about 4 years older than I am) but it looks like he is doing one thing every 2 or 3 years right now.

It looks like Molly Ringwald is the same, she had that bit part in Not Another Teen Movie (which was pretty cute) and I really liked her in The Stand - she looked very pretty in that movie.   And poor Ally Sheedy, I watched a some sort of Biography on her and she really plummetted to the bottom because of her excessive drug use.  But now I think she is making more Independent movies and getting a following through that genre.  Ther are SOOOOO many of them...
