Re: The Best Zombie Movie EVER
There are so many good Zombie movies out there, I know it is hard to narrow it down to just one. I could always go with the classic Night of the Living Dead, that movie was just phenomenal. I will always love the beginning of that movie - There coming to Get you Baarbaaara...

Re: The Best Zombie Movie EVER
I think my vote is going to go to day and dawn of the dead. These are my favorite becuase I think Romero had a lot to do with inventing the zombie movie in a sense. There is so much to these movies that a lot of people realyl jsut dont get I think the social commentary flies right past people. NOt to mention that svaini did the fx and that scores humongous brownie points in my book!

The best zombie movie? That's an easy one. Romero's Dawn of the Dead. I've probably seen it more than 30 times.

Re: The Best Zombie Movie EVER
Yep, I have to say the original Dawn of the Dead has to be my favorite too. BUT ever since I saw Fulci's Zombi, I can't seem to get that movie out of my head. It was such a fun, cool movie and I know I have said this about 100 times but I just loved the zombie vs shark scene in the water (even though it was too short). I loved it when she was swimming and she just turns around in the water and the zombie is right behind her. The wood plank in the eye was pretty fun too. Very original...

Re: The Best Zombie Movie EVER
As far as strictly 'Zombie' movies, I would have to go with those two as well... FIRST "Zombie" , then the original "Dawn Of The Dead" , then "Day Of The Dead" , and then, the original "NOTLD" ... folowed closely by the 'remake' , and Fulci's "The Beyond" ... there are more ...

Re: The Best Zombie Movie EVER
I have The Beyond coming up on my Queue. I am really looking forward to seeing it. I just LOVE watching these movies that I've never seen before, it's just so much fun finding new and exciting, cool movies. Thanks everyone and especially you Gor for suggesting a lot of these movies to me. Now if I can JUST find a guy out here in Seattle that likes Scary movies. It amazes me how many men out here do NOT like any kind of scary movies. I am seeing this really nice younger guy and he hates ACTION movies and SCARY movies. I thought that was coded into men's genetic makeup??? I can tell this relationship is not going to last. He doesn't like Jazz music either, which is kind of downer because I sing jazz. Oh well, I will stop venting now. lol. I just don't get it. Oh well...hee hee.

Have you considered moving to Canada? Oh, and how do you feel about guys with eyeballs in the palms of their hands? :-)

Re: The Best Zombie Movie EVER
I can see already the movies that everyone is going to list so I will list some others: 1) The hometown legend "Evil Dead"- they are a bit closer to demons but some of them are more zombies (Ash's dead girlfriend for example) 2) Re-Animator 3) Dead Alive 4) Cemetary Man 5) 28 Days Later & 28 Weeks Later 6) Shaun of the Dead

As long as the eyeballs don't keep you from cooking, washing dishes or doing housework hey, I'm all for mixed relationships (you know, Canadians and Americans/Creatures that guard food in a Labrynth/humans) hee hee hee. Yep, I hate to say it, but I think all the good ones in America are taken. But I think George Clooney is still single, so I might just wait for him...(sigh...in my dreams - ha ha)
