Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: Classic-in-waiting or Indy trilogy's Phantom Menace?
Spielberg's next Indiana Jones film has been arguably called the most anticipated movie of 2008. Although George Lucas has been reported in the press downplaying its significance (drawing from his experience with Star Wars Episode I), the effect of the movie's popular trailer has elicited cheers from nostalgic moviegoers. After seeing it, I felt the same way, except that the visuals from the trailer left me with a cartoonish, artificial, CGI feeling. After 19 years of filmmaking innovations, can the new Indiana Jones picture measure up to its predecessors?
