2008 Spring Doldrums
Is the 2008 Spring movie season done yet? I'm sure this imbalance is obvious to film studios. If so, why do they allow this desert of notable film programming, and continue to cram the crowded film marketplace during the Summer and Fall? I think Tom Cruise's United Artists, which is in need of a hit after Lions for Lambs, may seize the opportunity. His filmValkyrie has been pushed to Feb. 2009. Problem solved or problem film? We will be watching...
