Introduce Yourself

It's not some lame myspace-esque "Friend me!" bulletin

Here's the scoop, fellow Spoutists, I'm here because, like you, I greatly enjoy movies!  I want to be exposed to new movies, old movies I never knew about, and other people's opinions of movies. 

That's where you come in.

Not only do I want to know about your favorite, least favorite, guilty pleasure...etc. movies, but I also want to get to know you (hence, the act of joining the "introduce yourself" group). 

I've already met one person and  tossed many messages back and forth and now I want to meet you! My goal is to meet people- ACTUALLY MEET PEOPLE- and make friends. I want to talk about the movies that entertain us and also the other everyday things- or the not so average things- that we enjoy.

That being said, I introduce myself:

I'm Leah, 19 years old, artist, "aspiring musician" (heh) and not a natural hip hop dancer.   I'm a barista, a teacher, a math tutor and a student. I will travel the world some day, hopefully some day soon.  Gladiator is possibly my all time favorite movie- however, I also love Braveheart and Peter Pan (the animated version and the newest one) and tons of other movies. Yeah, I'm one of those LotR fans. I'm also one of the approximately 5 people who liked King Kong. I love to write and am excited about writing to YOU soon!

Thanks for the post.  Always glad to have new people joining the discussions.

I would say feel free to join in other discussion in other groups or send individual message to people.  Most people here are pretty kindly have have seen some pretty cool movies and have interesting things to say about them.

hola senyoureatta leah! i already know you, haha! and you know me, right? lol. uh, i haven't really actually done ANYTHING on this website, and i finally looked at your profile and found this. so i figured since i was already on here i might aswell say something. i LOVE to talk about movies! and making, directing, writing, and editing movies and all that. i'm coming out with a new movie soon called "see saw" it's just going to be a spoof of the saw movie. i hope it's funny, or kind of interesting. i've never seen gladiator or braveheart, but i love LotR!!! i like pretty much all types of movies. i would watch almost any movie. suspence, comedy, and action are probably my favorite catagories. but if i see part of a movie i have to fiinish it! haha! ok, i'll talk to you later leah! maybe i'll get back on here soon... hmmm.... the first semester of school is almost out!!! but Mrs. Liggett is giving us another two weeks of homework.

oh hey! i went to toria's dance studio, and danced infront of the mirrors, i'm not as bad of a dancer as i thought i was. i want to see you do that first dance though, lol. the dudes dance is fun!!! if you want i can teach you it, if kaz wont, lol. i may take regans hip hop next semester. i've had a lot of fun with it this semester! =D

Niiice! Galdiator heh? It's good but I prefer Troy the way that they adapted the legend to make it the most realistic possible was simply  brillant! You seem to like adventure/action movies alot are you also a fan of super heroes too? I just loove X-men it's just my all time favorite of marvels movie adaptation..

What elese what else ? Oh! I'm a new fan of The Bourne trilogy I'm really exited about it Ididn't see the third movie yet. I personnally think it's on e of matt damon's best performances. And my guilty plasure is to watch all of Rocky's in a row...
