missing a film

So I got this question this morning and I have absolutely no clue on this one: Help out "missing a film", she's desperate, she wrote this before 5:00 AM this morning.

Okay, so here's the deal, my friend saw a movie on HBO or Cinemax or some other movie channel about 3-6 months ago and doesn't know the title or any of the actors but said it was really good and now I want to see it.  So here's what it's about.

A little boy , maybe 10 or 12, is running away from his parents or something at a restraunt in a parking lot and runs into a van and there's a couple in the van and they are overly nice, calling eachother honeybear and stuff but they seem a little off.  So they end up taking the boy home with them where they have other children they've taken and the couple tells them that they're doing child acting but it 's really child porn.  At the end the little boy locks himself in a bathroom and calls a woman, someone he knows?, and tells her where he is by finding the address on a bottle of pills and she ends up coming and saving him and in the end, shoots the woman that helped take him in the head.

 I've tried all the blockbuster's and hollywood videos and no one knows. or they try to say it's Running Scared and it's not.  It was a more recently made movie, sometime in the 2000's.  Please let me know if you have any ideas.  Thank you so much.  :  )

Your movie store people were right, you just were confused on which movie they were referencing. This was obviously not 1986's Running Scared.

I can see why that scene stuck in your head, it made me queasy (seemed to revel in the perversion of these uber-molesters a little to much). Anyway, the answer to your question is Running Scared from 2006 starring Paul Walker

Does that sound right? Running Scared, the 2006 version? Here's the synopsis:

A minor crook finds himself in major peril when a "hot" weapon goes missing in this violent crime thriller. Joey Gazelle (Paul Walker) is a low-level "mechanic" in the Mafia who hopes to rise through the ranks by doing whatever is needed. One night, a drug deal goes very wrong when police show up and try to close down the operation; shots break out and a battle ensues, with a pair of of cops meeting a particularly violent fate at bad end of a gun barrel. Joey is given the gun that killed the policemen and is told to make it disappear so it can't be used as evidence; however, before he can do that, the weapon is stolen by Oleg (Cameron Bright), a friend of Joey's young son, who takes the pistol and uses it to shoot his abusive stepfather. Now that the gun is implicated in high profile crimes, it's vitally important that Joey find it as soon as possible, but his search for the firearm is complicated by the fact that Oleg's stepdad is affiliated with a rival gang of Russian mobsters, and that Rydell (Chazz Palminteri), a seriously corrupt police detective, is hot on Joey's trail. Joey's search for the gun takes him through the grim criminal netherworld of the city, where he must face off against nearly every sort of crook, con artist, and deviate that has ever walked the earth.

Check it out and see if we're right! If we're not, we'll go back to the drawing board for this one!
