Tomorrow's Wednesday...and you know what that means...

Hey, GR knitters:

Let's meet again tomorrow to knit. Same time (noon), same place (River Bank Bookstore). I need to knit--I've been very busy moving and only sit down when I'm at work.

I'll be there. Still with the red scarf.

Oh rats and triple rats. I thought we were meeting next week, not this. So here I am. Here. Of all places. In Holland.

And been thinking when red thread is over maybe we need to think about a G.R. extension of this gang:

Dang I can't make it... knitting update on patches' side, I completed my red "Hot Head" hat for the Red Thread project, and have since donated it to the project and completed a SECOND hat... much better this time, and the right size too.

Victor "HarmlessAndroid" my husband doesn't want me to give it away becasue he loves it too much even though it doesn't fit his big noggin. I love hats now they are so easy... thank you everyone for the help and the pushing, you've been a great knitting team and backbone. I will post pictures on flickr soon! Once I can remember to bring my camera's usb cord in!

Think of me while you click and clack on Wednesday.

Knitting's the best, hells yea.

I'm so there, gang. Must start another hat. I made a huge one night before last from some yummy chenille I had lying about, but I'm not in love with it. It wants a large man who's confident wearing cream-colored chenille.

I'm going to try to winding up a couple of strands of some lovely rayon tonight and work with a real pattern. Looking for a prettier crown than the big foursquare ridges I've been making in hats. Maybe a swirly topped, rayon hat?

Sizing for chemo patients does tend to be smaller. Our heads without hair are much smaller. I remember, though, that my mom preferred hats that just rested there rather than snug ones. And SOFT.

SOFT, SOFT, SOFT.
