30 days of night
OMFG!!!!! I think everyone should run out and get this movie. If you cant afford it steal it. I loved what they did to the vampire in this movie. ( they made them scarry again.) And the script was great, The things that the characters go through is such a mindfucker. It was a tense ride from start to finish but it has one of the best endings in a vampire movie ever. At last, Ghost House did a horror movie right. Did anyone else like this movie, or am i singing its praises alone?

Re:30 days of night
I really liked it. It had a lot of suspense (was very chilling in so many ways), I thought the ending was good but I knew it was going to happen like that. I thought the vampires were very cool in this picture. I could also tell that there were times when I think I stopped breathing for a while when I was watching it because it was so intense in some parts. I am going to add this to my collection. apostasy:OMFG!!!!! I think everyone should run out and get this movie. If you cant afford it steal it. I loved what they did to the vampire in this movie. Woo! I love this movie...it's so wicked. However, if you've read the grahic novel (how many people knew it was a graphic novel, first?), the blood and gore is much worse. And Marlow's (the head vampire) death is a lot cooler in the comic. But, I did love the movie and Josh Hartnett is just damn dreamy so that's a plus, too. Mad props to director David Slade. Woo!

Re:30 days of night
Great Vampire movie! It followed the graffic novel pretty closely (but I do like the GN more). This shows that most of the good ideas for any movies right now are coming from the "comic book" world. This was a fresh take on an old villian. and the Idea of this town being trapped with the location and loss of dayligtht was a great concept. I did miss the items left out of the movie; Barlow was not the "head" vampire-in fact, the Boss was not to happy with this whole idea. I also did not like the fact that the two main heroes were seperated in the movie; the GN shows them as a very loving husband and wife as well as the comprising the entire police force. But it WAS one of the best movies I have viewed in awhile.

Re:30 days of night
I tend to like comic movies better when they dont show you panel to panel. We've seen it. So when they do do (ha) the story changes for the movie, i dont really know whats going to happen next. Its kind of nice not knowing. But it does suck when they get rid of secondary characters that we tend to like but in no way move the story along.
