OK.    So I have completed my homework assignment and compiled my list of the 31 best Horror Movies of the last 31 years!   This was no easy task but rather fun.   I have probably forgotten a few that might edge out some of the ones I listed, but I think it is a pretty good list of the best horror since 1977.   So, here we go....  counting down to number 1 ...

   31.   The Final Terror  (1981)

   30.   Link   (1986

   29.   Clown House   (1988)

   28.   Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf  (1985)

   27.   The Howling  (1981)

   26.   Predator  (1987)

   25.   Alien  (1979)

   24.   Alien vs. Predator  (2004)

   23.   Freddy vs. Jason   (2003)

   22.   Friday The 13th  (1980)

   21.   Friday The 13th, Part II  (1981)

   20.   Nightmare On Elm Street  (1984)

   19.   The Funhouse  (1981)

   18.   Hell Night  (1981)

   17.   The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2  (1986)

   16.   Return Of The Living Dead  (1985)

   15.   Re-Animator  (1985)

   14.   Phenomena  (1985)

   13.   Halloween  (1978)

   12.   Halloween II  (1982)

   11.   Buried Alive  (1978)

   10.   Burial Ground  (1985)

     9.   Doctor Butcher, MD  (1979)

     8.   The Gates Of Hell   (1980)

     7.   The Beyond  (1981)

     6.   Cannibal Holocaust  (1979)

     5.   Cannibal Ferox  (1981)

     4.   Night Of The Living Dead  (1990)

     3.   Day Of The Dead  (1985)

     2.   Dawn Of The Dead  (1978)

     1.   ZOMBIE!  (1979)

Well, there you have it....   I am ready for you all to start slinging your rocks and arrows at me...   Don't worry, I can take it...

Wow Dr. Gor.  After all this time, I thought I'd heard about all of your favorite movies, but there are more than a couple on this list I've never even heard of before.  You should make more lists more often!

Re:Top 31 Horror films of the past 31 years on The Naked Lunch Radio Show

Hey, Rick (Mr. Naked Lunch Radio Show).   I tried to download your Halloween Special episodes but with my extremely slow dial-up connection it would take more than a day to do so!  ('caveman', remember?)   But I am extremely curious to know which movies, if any, our lists have in common!   Would it be possible for you to type your list in this group?   I am certain there are others like me who don't have the technology to download your 2 hour show and would like to see the list.

I really liked what I was able to listen to of your show and I have one question...   How old is Chrystina and what does she look like?

Did you mean download, or stream? I tried to download a few episodes, but it would only allow me to save the link itself as a firefox document. when I clicked on download(as opposed to right click+save link as), it took me to a quicktime page that played the show for me. Unfortunately my sound card is jacked, so I was planning on putting them on my ipod. As it is I can't listen to anything streaming.
