What are your favorite horror movie series?
I know there are a lot of horror movies out there that almost go up to Part 26 or so...but what are some of your favorites? AND if they are in a series what are your favorites within that series? There are a LOT of obvious ones, but also try to think of the ones that aren't so popular... There is one group of movies, I think they only go up to Part 4, but they are called Subspecies, they are low budget but they are really good and creepy about good vampires and bad vampires. There is also Night of the Demons 1 and 2, and 3, I can't remember if they go up in further. I also really enjoy all the Wishmaster Movies. Which number is it that has Robert Englund in it, that was one of my favorites... What are some of yours?

My fave movie series is SUBSPEICES, Radu THE BEST awsome, THE HOWLING Series, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, HALLOWEEN... 'Nuff said!! =)

I don't know... would TWO movies constitute a 'series' ? .... I was going to mention this in the 'Itallian Horrors' section... "Anthropophagus" 1 and 2! Both of these movies are INSANE! Part 2 is like a gorier version of "Halloween"!

Yes, Radu is one of my favorite characters. He was just so evil...Those were surprising movies to me. I just thought they would be kind of stupid and boring but I was pretty impressed. I loved the little demon creatures. The first and second movies were my favorites. I think I really enjoy this because it's almost like a soap Opera. And I agree with both you and doc, A Nightmare on Elm Street just rocks!! Those movies are all great. I also like the Hellraiser movies - those are all very original. Yeah, Doc, I would consider parts 1 & 2 a series...I love the Cliff Hanger endings to movies where you KNOW they will have to keep making them...

Two VERY good choices, fear67... I liked both of those series myself and, personally, I thought "Freddy Vs. Jason" fucking rocked! ... that is just me, though...

I love the Subspecies movies. I have not been able to find all of them but want to real bad.Vampires are my passion and these movies are unique in my opinion. I am surprised anyone even knowe or remembers them.My other favorites are Phantam series and the Hellraiser movies.
