He's Right Behind You!!!!
I thought it would be fun to mention some scenes (like in Scream when Jamie Kennedy is screaming at Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween to TURN AROUND, HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!) that make you want to shout at the TV and tell the brave OR stupid people what is about to happen to them. I know Sharee had mentioned in the Most Disturbing Scene Thread about the little girl in Dawn of the Dead, I always want to scream, SHUT AND LOCK YOUR DOOR - SHE'S GOING TO TRY TO EAT YOU!! hee hee hee. So, what are some of your favorite scenes?

Re: He's Right Behind You!!!!
This reminds me of "The 40-Year-Old-Virgin" where Romany Malco's character is watching "Dawn of the Dead" and yelling at the woman on the screen. "Bitch get out the room! Bitch get out the room!"
I do that in just about every horror movie I see. There's always a situation where that could be applied. The new "Dawn of the Dead" was certainly one, when Sarah Polley wakes up and her husband's a zombie (I KNEW that was coming!) or "Slither" when the girl is trying to escape from her infected family. That one goes down in the books as one of my favorites. Really, really creepy stuff.
More often than not, I have "Don't you do it" moments, where I'm yelling at the screen for someone NOT TO DO SOMETHING, FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE because I know it's just going to mess things up. Example: Just about everything Chris Eccleston does in "Shallow Grave." I swear I thought he was going to shove that drill right through Ewan McGregor's head.

Re: He's Right Behind You!!!!
I got home late last night and logged on to Fear.net and they had a free movie of Night of the Living Dead (the 1990 version) so I was watching that again, I don't know how many times I've seen this version, probably about 4 or 5 times (the original I've probably seen 100 times at least). Anyway, I found myself talking out loud, "God, I can't believe you left the kitchen door open." - "He's not really dead, stupid!" "Would you JUST shoot him in the HEAD??" haa haa. So funny, it doesn't matter how much I see a movie, I think I can change it by telling them what's going on.

Re: He's Right Behind You!!!!
As I just mentioned in the nudity question I would say it was the scene in Halloween when Mike Myers snuck up on the dorky kid who just had nookie with the chick with pigtails then sabs him and bolts him to the door. I actually jumped up out of my chair and yelled shi#! when he did that. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Re: He's Right Behind You!!!!
One scene that has become a cliche: was watching Heroes episode 4 the other night. Good guy chases bad guy, shoots him multiple times in the chest and down the bad guy goes on his back. Then the good guy and the girl stand talking in the hallway and in the background, out of focus, you see the bad guy sit up and you realize that he isn't normal or human or something... In fact, I also just saw that in a movie. Bad guy is laid out in the morgue and behind the lab worker, out of focus, he sits up...

Maybe. When I was watching it I was well aware that it had been done thousands of times before, but something about the movie made it feel like it was totally shocking and original.

Re: He's Right Behind You!!!!
That was done in "The Fog" and "Prince Of Darkness" , as well... I think John Carpenter liked that little trick...

Re: He's Right Behind You!!!!
Dammit, Riz, you beat me to it. I gotta say, though, I find that one of the most effective "look out!" bits. Nice and abrupt. I can see why Carpenter would want to re-use it. I think it's the new "you think they're dead and then they open their eyes" trick.
