Top Five Gore on bloodgutsandgore.com

The absolute, gut-spewing, blood-letting, gore-flying flick of all time, in history: #1 Dead Alive.

#2: also by Peter Jackson and right repulsive on its own: Bad Taste

#3: the first not by PJ, but by Paul Verhoeven: Starship Troopers

#4: Japanese sicko Takashi Miike's mind-warped Ichi the Killer

and the #5 goriest: Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions

If you've seen and were repulsed by these, you'll undoubtedly find much more to spew over at http://www.bloodgutsandgore.com, my Internet shrine to all that's bloody, gory and generally messed up.

Ok.  So I only recently noticed this post that was made months ago by my dear friend Robert.   So here is my reply - better late than dead, I guess...

   1.  Nekromantik  and ...

   2.  Nekromantik 2  ...  these are BOTH some serious 'chunkblowers' that are NOT suitable viewing for most people!

   3.  Buried Alive - aka Beyond The Darkness -  Joe D'Amato's excursion into the realm of 'over-the-top-gore'.

   4.  Cannibal Ferox - aka Make Them Die Slowly -  Cannibal gut-munching, eye-gouging, amputation and castration deep in the heart of the Amazon.

   5.  Dead Alive - or 'How To Safely Use A Lawnmower... To Dispatch A Horde Of Zombies!'
