Added films
I've been randomly adding movies to the lists here. I noticed that some of my favorite Asian films weren't listed and I thought I would like to add them in case some of you haven't seen them and are looking for some interesting movies to watch. I added a Korean film (Save The Green Planet), a few Chinese ones (Happy Times and The Road Home, a Japanese movie (Takeshi Kitano's Blind Swordsman Zatoichi which is for some reason only listed as Zatoichi) and I think one Thai movie (Citizen Dog). If you're looking for some feedback on what I liked about them, I'd be happy to share, but I think it would take up too much space and brain-power for me to type it all here. Just send me a message or something if you're interested in knowing more about them!

Re: Added films
Thanks for reminding me of Save the Green Planet! I remember seeing a trailer for this a couple years ago and thought it looked like a great time. But then I forgot what it was called.

Re: Added films
It is a great time indeed, if you like torture and cops and aliens and hilarity and manequins and murder.

Re: Added films
Ah, Save the Green Planet and Citizen Dog are excellent, both fun quirky films to watch. I see Citizen Dog often compared to Amelie with its highly saturated colors and maybe its cartoony style? but I think Citizen Dog can stand on its own. I've still not yet seen Happy Times and the Road Home despite having them on DVD /)_- but you bringing it up may get me to watch it this weekend :) .

Re: Added films
Cool guys. Last semester I completed a course called "Japanese Literature in Film" and read the comprehensive book of Japanese cinema called 100 Years of Japanese Film by Donald Richie. I started to really get into the films there, so I've been obsessing over a first movie to share to everyone. So, I added my personal favorite to the list. It's an incredible drama called Nobody Knows by Kore Eda, based on a Japanese new story from the mid-eighties. The plot is about four kids abdandoned by their mother to live by themselves in a Tokyo apartment. It's a must see, a tear jerker, and amazing at the same time. I'll be adding many more in the coming weeks. Best, Evangelo

Re: Added films
That course sounds very interesting :) . Nobody Knows is a fine film, I really enjoyed it as well. I was really impressed with the lead actor, he did a great job, especially with his younger siblings in the movie. Thanks for adding to the list!
