Top 10 things I'll miss most not being in Telluride 2006

..oh the things I'll miss most not being in Telluride this Labor Day:

10) The Feed!  Stand or sit next to someone famous long enough and you'll end up in the yearbook; I'm on page 9 of the 2005.

9) Meeting really cool strangers while in line for the queue tickets

8) The tomato salad at Alred's

7) Watching the golden light of the sunset over the box canyon (from Alred's)

6) Having lunch in the outdoor seminar amphitheatre

5) Running along the river in the early morning stillness feeling like a local

4) Jumping rocks up stream because I didn't want to run back all the way around

3) Hiking up to the waterfall (didn't make the list last year when I was scrambling to films)

2) Labor Day Picnic - just a casual lunch with several famous movie stars and producers

..and the number one thing I'll miss not being in Telluride in a few weeks, will be:

1) meeting up with the local hotty who I met my last day when I chanced to screen a few films in the venue he was managing.

I'm jealous, it sounds like you've had a great time there, not able to make it this year? I'm going to be living vicariously through those lucky people that are going this year. How were the 2005 films and which did you catch?

I can't wait to see many of the films released from this last weekend.  I'm slowly working through the reviews of the Spout guys who went to the festival.

From 2005 I saw and recommend: Edmond, Cache, Lemming, Brokeback Mountain

I also watched: L'Enfant, The Lost City, Breakfast on Pluto, Bee Season

It seems like I saw more than this, but waiting in line before the films is often the same running time as the film ;)
