What do you think will be on the Telluride program in '07?
Let's have some fun trying to finger exactly what films will be on the 2007 program. My first guess is the new film by Denys Arcand titled (in English) The Age of Ignorance. It was in Cannes this year and Telluride screened the other two parts of his "triligy", The Decline of the American Empire and The Barbarian Invasions. What do you think? Tom

Here is another possibility - Ang Lee's new film Lust, Caution is already scheduled for the Venice Film Festival and limited release in the US in late September...

Here is another possible film - mentioned last year during the Walter Murch tribute, Youth Without Youth, Francis Ford Coppola's most recently completed project (also edited by Murch) seems a strong candidate for Telluride. It has listings already for screening at the RomaCinemaFest in October and US release in November.

O-K-A-Y -- The Toronto festival film list is now available online. Take a look -- there are many Telluride favorites on the list such as Ang Lee, Paul Schrader, Denys Arcand, Rolf de Heer, and Michael Moore, just to name a few. SO - take a look and see if we can guess what will be in Telluride - what do you say? It's only 9 days away! Tom
