Is anyone watching this anime? What do you think?
I love it, I'd probably have to say that it's one of the best anime I've ever seen. I'm very excited to see the rest of this series. For now I'm making due by buying the manga ^_^

Hooray for Death Note.  It's my favorite manga...  And it's becoming my favorite anime as well.. X3  Just as a side note.. if you feel too lazy to go buy the manga, you can read the manga scans here : http://thespectrum.net/manga_scans/death_note/  But if you're like me, you'll go buy the manga anyway just because it's so freaking awesome.. XD

I wish.  I've browsed through enough YouTube videos to know... There are a few raw clips though... I found a pretty long one before.. a raw one-hour long clip.  But it got removed due to 'copyright infringement'.  TT___TT 

By the by.. I *just* finished reading volume 12 of the manga!!  So awesome..  Dunno if you know, but you can mess with the address of the link so you don't have to wait a week for the volume to "rotate".  Just ask if you want help...

And I'm just finishing reading volume 6 right now, but thanks for the tip! That will be good so i wont have to wait to read them.

What's your opinion on Misa? When she was first introduced I was annoyed by her since she was messing up Lights plans sort of, but now I really like her and think she's actually really smart ^_^ And she's cute too! She's probably my favorite charcter after Light.
I also like Matsuda, he's pretty funny. ^_^

Who's your favorite character? Oh, but don't tell me if it's a character I haven't been introduced to yet! ^^;; I don't want to be spoiled!

Oh wow... Already on volume 6? 0__0 Isn't it fun so far?!  I love how Light's eyes become more.. "innocent" when he lost his memory about the Death Note...

On Misa... I actually think she is a little annoying how she clings so much to Light.. But there are some moments where she proves that she's not as dumb as she looks, and those moments are just plain awesome.  But my favorite character would have to be L.  I love all his quirks and how he just seems so different from the rest of the world.  After him would be... Light.  You gotta love his whole I-wanna-be-God psychotics.  And you're right, Matsuda is downright amusing at times... makes me wonder how he got into the investigation team..

So who are you rooting for, Light or L?  Personally, I can never "choose a side".. It's too fun watching the two of them battling it out.. So I guess my perspective is like Ryuk's... XD

I'd have to say that I'm rooting for Light. I love how he's so clever and sneaky. And yes, his whole "I-wanna-be-God" thing is love! If he got captured I'd be sad! The only thing I don't like about him is that he is probably going to kill Misa eventually. But if he got captured then Misa would probably also be captured, so I think either way she is going to get screwed over ^^;; Poor Misa!

I just got to the part where L dies, it's kind of dissapointing, I liked how L and Light were always trying to figure each other out.
And then just when you think Light will get a happy ending that guy at the orphanage gets sent a messege about L's death. But it's all good, because it will make the series longer XD

Oh, and I heard that the movie comes on dvd in Japan, in like, 4 or 5 days, and after the dvd comes out someone is going to sub it! Yay! :D

Yes... there is just something so deliciously evil and manipulative about him.. ;D  The thing about Misa getting screwed over is the question of whether she'll *let* him or not..  I don't think she's dumb enough to be completely oblivious to the fact that Light is using her, but I don't think she minds it.. After all, she cut her lifespan in half again for him...

Ah... the Death.. TT___TT  I actually screamed at the computer screen when that happened.. -___-  This isn't really a spoiler, but a slight warning.. The manga will kinda go downhill from his death... But somewhere towards the end, when you won't even expect it, it will *kick up* again...

Oh wow.  The movie is already coming out in DVD?  Yaayy!!  Can't wait!!  Hopefully the subbed version will be out soon.  Then my friends and I will probably have a Death Note party.. Whoo hoo!!

The manga has been going down since Light forgot about the Death Note. = /
Although right after he got it back and L was killed was pretty exciting. But I hate this Mello and Near arc now. Those kids are creepy, they're like L, only more insane o.o

The thing about Misa is, she's smart, but when it comes to Light, I think she's kind of dumb. = / I'm not sure if she really realizes what's going on. Altough you've read more of the manga then me, so you probably have a better idea. I've read through the 9th one, but I haven't had time to start the 10th one yet due to school and working on my halloween costume (Miwako from Paraidse kiss ^.~! You seen it? )

And yeah, hopefully the dvd coming out will mean it will get subbed soon, but it's not for sure. When the FMA movie came out, it didn't get a sub for while, and even then it wasn't a good one. In fact, i'm not sure it ever got a good one. I know that after it came out I didn't get to see it subbed until I bought the dvd. Luckily they made a version with english subtitles, so I didn't have to watch a fan sub. It'd be sweet if they made Death Note with english subs, but it's unlikely. So we'll just have to wait for a fan sub and hope it's good!
