Re: New Features
I think the "live" site is very schwanky. I'm still getting used to all the different links I can ever possibly want to click, but it's pretty user-friendly I'd say.
One thing I'm noticing: the "recently active" films don't seem to be rotating all that much. Is that because there's no activity lately or is it because it's one of the bugs of the new navigation? Any answers spouters?

Re: New Features
there is a new time view available for films, members, and groups. Before popular "All time" and recent "Just now" was available. Now they've added Active "aka busy, getting noticed, buzz, etc". This time view is based on recent history. Its going to be more dynamic than popular but not nearly as dynamic as recent. So it captures what is popular in the recent past.
I hope this helps

Re: New Features
Ok, thanks for the explanation. That's cool. I did like the "just now" concept, though, because it brought up different movies to look at daily. See, I've been spouting now for several months. I've listed and tagged a goodly number of times. I've grown my basic lists and whatnot, and my group lists are choc full. What was cool about the just now feature is that it allowed me to see films that people (not necessarily my contacts) were listing and tagging that day, and I do visit Spout at least once a day, because maybe I missed something, or maybe there were cool new films being listed and tagged. Like the Denver Films, for example. Is there still the just now time window somewhere in the navigation? I really liked that feature.

Re: New Features
This isn't a perfect solution to what you are looking for but you would want to pay attention to the content in
My Movies widget (lower right hand) on the Movies front (http://www.spout.com/films)
My People widget (lower right hand) on the Members front (http://www.spout.com/members)
My Groups widget (lower right hand) on the Groups front (http://www.spout.com/groups)
Otherwise if you want to get a list of movies that have changed most recently you can go here:
http://www.spout.com/Films/ScopeFocusViewAll.aspx?ScopeType=ALL&FocusType=RECENT

Re: New Features
Hi folks, I'll chime in. I'm on the Spout product team and we like this buzz idea, but are probably going to re-insert more "just now" views. I miss it, too.

Re: New Features
Rumor has it that, shortly, there will be a change to the Movies, People, and Groups fronts that will include both active and recent views. Pippin06, thanks for making this suggestion.
Spout loves its community.
