Newsies

I just heard about this movie today. Has any one seen it before? Was it any good? And how was the music?

There is so much I can say about this movie. Number one, I had to special order it from Blockbuster 10 years ago because I couldn't find it anywhere. (Oh, how things have changed!)

At the box office, it was a total flop. But it rose to be a cult favorite among fans of Nickelodeon's Roundhouse as well as any 20 something year old who ever took a chior class. Contrary to popular belief this was never a theatrical production--though I always wished it could be.

It's a great story...(though in real life the newsies lost the strike) and who doesn't love Christian? Really--and he sings too!

This is one to get your hands on. I also own the soundtrack. Yes, I had to special order that too...
