I haven't even seen it and I can tell you its awful!
This is from the creators of the worst movie ever.. SuperTroopers. I have not even seen it but I can tell you it will probably top SuperTroopers for worst movie ever. Call me negative if you will but you will not find me at the theater paying $8 to see this one!

Makes you wonder why a movie studio would waste so much money on crap like that. Mindless garble.

Paul, you shouldn't admit that you love super troopers. It discredits all of your film recommendations. And I mean this in complete concern for your reputation. Because Super Troopers was pretty darn awful. I hope its a nostalgic guilty pleasure for you and not your view of cinematic quality.

Re: I haven't even seen it and I can tell you its awful!
I really enjoyed SuperTroopers and am excited to see what the makers are bringing us next. I just recently watched supertroopers for the first time and was so impressed by it. It isn't a great movie, or a classic by any means but it was remarkably polished considering it was just about their first movie. I'd like to see anyone do better their first time out. Comedy is tricky business and they were able to pull it off pretty well

I’ll have to admit that I am a Super Troopers fan…the
opening sequence is just hysterical and quite entertaining…on the whole the
movie isn’t "award" material, but it is good low brow humor for a Saturday night
while hanging out with friends.
Club Dread on the other hand, Broken Lizard’s second attempt
at a movie, was not so great, I could even be persuaded into saying belongs
on this Worst Movie Ever list, but I’m hoping that Beerfest will be bette...here’s to hoping!
(Cheers!)

BAAAH !!!! Such naysayers! Isn't it a wee closed minded to say you don't like something you havent seen? What are you going to tell me next??? You dont like "The Man Show" !?!?!?!
I for one saw this film and loved it, any real beer drinkin dude with cojones will love this film. If you're a dude and you don't like it... watch it again... if you still dont like it.... go ahead and come out to everyone!

I dont think that anyone here is going to say that they think super troopers is a cinematic masterpiece worthy of awards. Its just plain funny. When someone tells you a joke, do you analyze it and determine it's artistic value?? Do you discredit people who laugh at a joke because you think the joke was not worthy?
Most people would agree that the reason they like or love supertroopers is because it is funny. If they love it for it's cinematic quality (besides the quality attributed to comedy), I would agree with tmoney.

Re: I haven't even seen it and I can tell you its awful!
Does anyone even know what Beer Fest is about? And for the record I know its about drinking, I know that they must drink a lot, but is that a movie? I love comedies (I've seen Groundhog's Day at lest four times) but this is not enough of a concept for me to want to see it in the theater.
