I just wanted to say that I love this discussion, and I don't know if I can think of anything witty or clever to say because I'm simply giggling uncontrollably - while at work, which is going to draw looks of suspicion.

leeroy's story is my favorite so far, but they're all very good.

My cat Frosty would love any Audrey Hepburn movie but especially Breakfast at Tiffany's because she relates both to Holly Golightly and to Cat, the nameless slob.

She was also fascinated by Ratatouille. Seriously, she actually sat for a minute and watched that one. I think she got ideas.

I used to have a gremlin that loved to watch Fast Times at Ridgemont High . He had a thing for Phoebe Cates. He would always say, "Rewind it & let's watch it again!!" And I would say, "Bill, (that was his name) you're sooo 80's. This is a dvd, you don't have to rewind, I can start it from any scene." He was like, "Pool scene! Pool scene!" and I would be like "Bill, you're just too much."

I tried turning him on to other Phoebe Cates movies, Drop Dead Fred, Princess Caraboo, but he never really got very excited about anything as much as he did for Fast Times.

What an interesting story, leeroy! My 'little Gremlin' is named something else but I TOTALLY understand what you are saying about Fast Times At Ridgemont High ... As near as I can tell, that was the ONLY time Ms. Cates exposed her magnificent breasts on camera. Of course it doesn't hurt that she was like 20 at the time... All the same, it is still one of the most amazing pieces of film ever recorded and it should be studied more carefully! There could be some hidden clues or something in there!

I had a ferret who loved the movie Salo. I think he's living with his mom now--we've lost touch as of late.

My dogs love Puppy Love, only because they love to make snarky comments about how tacky Karen Pryor is. They're such smart-asses.

I know for a fact that all opposums dig Falling Down and Do the Right Thing.

I bet Manatees would like movies where lots of boats get destroyed. Maybe Waterworld. Any movie where the water to boat ratio on the planet is greater.

You're right. One of the most terrifying movies to manatees is Miami Vice, with all the gofast boats ripping across the ocean.
