1. Revolutionary Road - I liked it. It reminded me a lot of how me and my first husband's marriage went down the drain.

2. Slumdog Millionaire - I don't remember much of what happened but I was telling all the girls at the spa how he jumped in the poo! Oh lordy, they just about died!

3. Burn After Reading - Now, I don't approve of their excessive potty mouths, but I suppose I'm able to forget that because George Clooney was just so gosh darn cute!

4. The Wrestler - My third husband was really into all of that wrestling garbage. This was neat but it's still just a bunch of men running around in silly little tights.

5. Synecdoche, New York - I tried to follow along, I really did. But the house on fire just went too far. Was this supposed to make sense? I didn't care too much for the sex scenes with the main guy; now if he were George Clooney, that'd be a different story.

5. Teeth - "I didn't know we could do that!"

She's not much of a movie person.

1. Slumdog Millionaire...Why would anyone want to live in such a dirty place? It's so violent! I can't believe you took me to this! Why would someone make such a film?

2. The Dark Knight.....Just sick! Sick and wrong. No wonder that guy is dead!

3. Wall-E.....That was silly but sweet! But that would never happen.

4. Iron-Man....It was too loud and violent! How can you like such a film?

5. Gran Torino.....I can't believe he's still making movies! Why would you do that at his age? Ugh!

(My mom loves reminding me of things that happened when I was kid. Like I'd forget dressing up as Batgirl for years.)

"I liked the sceneray, but I just couldn't understand what the heck they were saying half the time. Toward the beginning I was trying to ask you what language they were speaking and if there was suppose to be subtitles."

(wipes tears) "It was so sad, he was so stupid to do what he did at the end. I had a tough time watching most of the time, especially with his scar. The girl from 'My Cousin Vinnie' really got the moves right for the dancing though."

(wipes tears) "How come all these years have gone by and it's like we still just don't learn anything. And it really brought me back to what San Francisco was like in those days. I miss it."

I still can't believe Brad ran off with that other one. You know, what's-her-name...Jon Voight's daughter. Of course, he was in that "Midnight Cowboy", and THAT thing was pure filth.
