Synopsis
This adaptation of the poem by Sir Walter Scott finds Lochinvar (Owen Nares) abducting the woman he loves before she completes wedding vows to another man. The reworking of the story unfortunately does not follow the famous poem, but production qualities are good and the acting, direction, and exterior crowd scenes are fine. Cecil Morton York, Dick Webb, Nelson Ramsey, Charles Bennett, and Gladys Jennings star in director Will Kellino's first feature for Stoll pictures. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide
