"Ryan Reynolds again reprises his Van Wilder role, only this time his character is named "Monty". Waiting is a minor comedy in the style of Stripes, Caddyshack and pretty much any coming-of-age working man comedy. He is the "Generation X" Bill Murray meant to entertain Generation Y (or whatever they call the kids that came after us).
