Tsubasa Chronicle [Anime Series] (2005)

Synopsis
Princess Sakura of the Clow Kingdom still cares deeply for her childhood friend Syaoran even though he is by no means of royal blood; he is a budding archeologist who has just taken over his father's work. The dig that he is working on in the kingdom, however, unearths something powerful that knocks Sakura unconscious and takes her memories. The royal mage tells Syaoran to seek the advice of the witch Yuuko, who informs him that the only way to recollect Sakura's memories and restore her soul is to travel with her to many universes, tracking down her memories, which have taken the form of feathers, and collecting them. This will save Sakura, but in the process, she will permanently lose her memory of Syaoran and their loving friendship. Syaoran accepts the sacrifice and sets off on an adventure, teaming up with two other people on their own journeys through time and space.
