Directed by Julian Richards
Julian Richards' The Last Horror Movie centers on Max, a wedding photographer who, at night, with the assistance of a homeless person, makes brutal home movies of him killing a variety of innocent people. Max often addresses the camera in a chilling and flamboyant manner. His psychotic state grows even more toxic as he begins to consider how the people watching his films are reacting. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide

"This was an unexpected treat. I have to say that even though I watched it on DVD it still had an impact. If you have the chance you need to find a copy on VHS and watch that. It has an really good effect that way. I will no doubt recommend this film to anyone who enjoys horror. Its not to often anymore that I have that tingle rush up my spine at the conclusion of a film but this reminded me of why I love horror films. " [More]

"There are certain movies that are all about the violence! (insert your favorite horror movie here) And then there are some which are more 'drama' but with at least one or two really violent scenes for an 'attention-grabber' . In other words, in some cases the violence helps to tell the story, and in other cases, the violence IS the story... here are some examples... [More]

"Honestly, it's been a fair bit since I've seen it, but I do recall a few things, one of them being that it was extremely difficult to discern any "messages" at all. I've found Cronenberg films (with the distinguished due exception of Dead RIngers) to be characteristically pointless. Existenz was frus " [More]
