"One of the forgotten British goldies. A heist caper movie that moves almost at the speed of the cars that are used in the flick. Michael Caine is outstanding as the Cockney theif who aims to steal gold bullion from Italy. The modus operandi of the caper is to create one of the greatest traffic-jams in Italy whilst the theives escape in their bus with the bullion. The mastermind Noel Coward in his last role is impeccable as the man behind bars who pulls it off to the admiration of the other inmates thru remote control. The ending is now folklore with Michael Caine telling his team that he has an idea to offload the almost off the cliff bus of its booty. "Self Preservation...." "The first time I started watching Skinwalkers, I couldn't finish it. I got freaked out because it was late at night and everyone had fallen asleep, leaving me alone with my werewolf fear. However, the next time around, still alone, but this time during the day, it wasn't nearly as effective. The plot revolves around a group of werewolves who see the condition as a curse and a young boy who has been prophesied to save them. The there's the other group of werewolves who kind of like hunting and killing people and they're trying to stop this little boy. The story is good, the werewolves are effective and it has good production. But I think that's part of the problem. The movie is hit by a cool curse. It think's it a lot cooler than it is. Still, alone at night, this could creep you out. Rififi is a truly awesome heist film. Jean Servais ("Porzi"), just out of jail, burns the screen with his eyes. The perpetrators execute the heist in complete silence. It's gritty, so "

"The Italian Job is not too funny, not too slick, and not too exciting—but it's far from just right. A remake of the 1969 caper starring Michael Caine and Benny Hill, the current Job was apparently more difficult to hire for: Mark Wahlberg and Seth Green only attempt to fill Caine's and Hill's shoes, while Edward Norton sleepwalks through a role he was contractually obligated to take. The result is a by-the-numbers heist flick that's compelling in a flipping-through-cable kind of way, with characters and plot developments not so annoying or stupid as to dissuade you from wanting to find out what happens next. Wahlberg plays Charlie, the next-in-line leader of a merry band of thieves headed by John (Donald Sutherland), who's promised to mentor him through one last job. Cue premature death: After the boys successfully steal bazillions in gold from a Venice safe and have a kooky discussion about what each is going to do with his share, rascally Steve (Norton) ... "

"I liked the new one so much, I have always wanted to see the orig. So I got to thinking, Spout has this for sale for 7$ and some change. I pay that to go see a new movie that I have no interest in I just feel I need see b/c my television told me to and so I can talk to others about it. So, I thought it was worth paying the $7.54 to own it. My thought process was, be able to watch it with a few other people. Even if I/we hate it we can all say we saw it and we still have saved money. So I now own it, funny how those credit cards seem to send things to you for free, but now I must find the time to watch it. I will be back on here to let you all know what I think about it when I get around to watching it. I do have certain expectations after seeing the new one. I know this is bad to do, same as reading a book then seeing a film or visa versa. So now that I have said that I hope I can watch it with an open mind. Comments on the film to come soon. If you have seen it let me k ... "
