It took me about half way through the film to realize I was actually watching a comedy at all, which is a credit to the filmmakers for playing everything straight (or mostly straight, the exception being Dominique Swains' annoyingly over-the-top performance and he obvious stock footage of an explosion towards the end of the film). Both Christina Ricci and Hank Harris are excellent in their respective roles, and to his credit, I thought Hank Harris got the role because of an real handicap. Not for everyone, but for those who like their comedies dark and satirical, this is the film for you. " [More]
