Yukari doesn't have much in her life besides schoolwork. The pressure from her mom and dad to get into a good college keeps her from doing much besides homework and complaining, but that all changes when she's spotted on the street by a young punk who thinks she should be a model. As it turns out, he goes to a high-school for young designers and he and his friends need someone to model their new clothing line, Paradise Kiss. Suddenly, Yukari has found something she is good at, and has a real direction for the first time. The interest in fashion rubs off on her, and with her new friends by her side, Yukari decides to pursue a career that revolves around her new talent.
