"This movie is a look-in into the lives of the inhabitants of the Patio das Cantigas (Song Place). Vasco Santana stars as the rather talent guitarrist, Narcisso who drinks to forget his love for Mrs. Rosa, who also happens to be the object of lust of his grocery-store owning rival, Evaristo (Antonio Silva) who he takes pleasure in winding up with childish pranks and rhymes. Then Mrs. Rosa daughter errives back from Brazil, where she is a famous singer and everything starts unravelling.
