This psychodrama is set in New Zealand during the 1880s and is based on the true story of an orphaned 18-year-old who marries a cruel, much-older man. "Mesmerized was also marketed under the title "Shocked". It is now in the $1 bin at WalleyWorld. The real action starts when or if you were reading this movie in book form. You would probably be laying in bed turning to page "who cares", when you would bolt upright, and throw this piece of crap across the room. The blame for this movie's poor quality belongs to the writer, or screenwriter, or other cryptic pretence of Jerzy Skolimowski and Mich " [More]
