A powerful but dangerous artifact sends two young men on an important journey in this anime adventure. When the Great Dog Demon loses his life, he gives each of his two sons, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, a sword which possesses great power beyond its strength as a weapon. However, the Demon also possessed a third sword, the Sounga, which was filled with dark powers; before his death he saw to it that the evil weapon was hidden away where it could not fall into the wrong hands.
