Synopsis
As they enter into their third season on the gridiron, the Harlem Hellfighters strive to prove why they should become Harlem's official high school football team, and filmmaker Jon Frankel follows them yard-for-year on their arduous journey to the goalpost. It hasn't been easy for the Hellfighters: while most football teams simply focus on winning, this team must fight to obtain funding and gain permission to play in the city league. As the season gets underway and former NFL player Coach Duke does his best to keep the team's winning spirit alive, these young players from high schools all over Manhattan will struggle to realize their dreams, and learn the true value of victory in the process. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
