"Winter of 1993. I had a wonderful date with a neighbor girl and we went and saw this, and had a blast. It's crude, it's rude, and in some parts rather cheesy, but it was the perfect date movie - we laughed and had a good time. Lemmon and Matthau go together like bread and butter (and their history of films together attests to that), but the love story between Kevin Pollak and Daryl Hannah is sickly sweet and unnecessary. Shame on Warner Bros, too, for only releasing this and it's sequel in full-screen versions on DVD. You'd think by NOW they'd have come around, but no... "

"Removing the dreadful Rocky V from all conversations about this franchise, you know most of how Rocky Balboa will play out. Rocky will be old and retired, then he'll be inspired to fight, then he'll have a killer training sequence hopping to a killer soundtrack, then he'll take a pounding in the ring. And yet, this sequel still rules. As a matter of fact, I have nothing new to offer. Just this karaoke cover of The Fanfare.Ahem.ba bum, ba-da-bum, badda dum-dudda dum, ba BUM, BA-BA-BUM, BA-DA-DUM, DUDDA-DUM, DOOTOODOO, DOOTOO DOODLE DOODLE DOO!!! "
